Hand harvetsted in March 2023, 20% of these grapes were fermented as whole bunches, to coax and enhance spice elemant and lift the aromatics. Matured in French oak (only 10% new) for 12 months.
One could say that’s it was classic Yarra, in character - dark and brooding with great colour yet bright fruit with lovely white pepper, spice notes and lifted fragrance.
