Fermentation
Whole-bunch pressed juice was fermented in French barriques and puncheons, the mix adding both detail and breadth. Twenty percent new oak brings gentle structure, while measured malolactic fermentation and lees work preserve the vintage's natural brightness and tension. Oak maturation and natural settling complete a Chardonnay of purity and fine-boned elegance.
Vineyards
A mature Upper Yarra site at 250m, defined by steep volcanic soils and cool nights that promote slow ripening and refined acidity. The 2023 season's cool conditions preserved freshness and finesse, yielding a Chardonnay of precision, clarity and excellent cellaring potential.
